I have been working for six years drawing Early Bronze Age artifacts for Die Funde, at the National Museum of Denmark. With a passion for free hand drawing, and the human condition - I stribe to let the illustration show the time and care put into the artifacts by living humans hundreds or thousands of years ago. I visualize the past, and I visualize the research - I make the information easy accessible, give the researchers a shortcut and an instrument for communication, I enlighten, highlight and preserve, and I can make the artifacts relevant again- a good drawing can spark new wonder about the past - bringing to life what has been hidden for hundreds, or thousands of years.
